My first shot where I did some cloning. They don't use buckets but for the tourists at these operations, so I had to get rid of a plastic pipe..it was a great learning experience.

Hello,
I think your overall composition and placement of the main subject is good although moving it to the left a bit would have improved it alittle. The road coming in from the right doesnt bother me and tends to keep my eye focused on the bucket and tree as your main subject. I think muting the background or a better use of selective focus would have helped in allowing the subject to stand out more from the background. My eye does tend to wander to the left at the bright snow and darker background tree. The overall mood of the picture helps support your subject. If it had been a bright sunny day there would have just been too many distractions and conflicts. Not a bad shot but I think working on separating your subject more from the background would have really helped.

Nice wintry color and feel. I find the road a little distracting.

I can't help a feeling of DPC deja vu. In any case, nice choice of desaturated look. The whole image seems to be leaning to the left just a little bit, but maybe that's only me.

The location of the collection can seems too near the center of the photo. I am used to seeing trees of this proportional size (wrt the photo) set off to the side and used as framing elements. I thinkd the disparate elements of the photo have potential that is untapped by this photo.

As an illustrative idea this is quite strong, but I can't imagine any client wanting it without cropping - surely, the bucket is the subject here, more than the tree? The fade-out of the background is useful, i think - allowing text to show over it, if wanted. I wonder if a little more drama in the light wouldn't go amiss?
