First of all Paulo, I would like to ask you to please start filling in the information on aperture and shutter information and give us some information on the Photographer’s comments, i.e. how you took the photo, etc. enhancement, tone, etc.
The first thing I notice about your photograph of the watch is that there were no “hands” on it, and then the great detail that you were able to obtain by your macro focusing of the watch and hand, but the focus seems more so on the hand and the watch seems just a bit out of focus.
Your composition is good.
The lighting had to be near perfect in order to obtain the focus that you obtained, so bravo for that also, although you can see a bit of glare on the right hand side of the watch – but are we all perfect?
You obtained good coloring and image in the photo. (Did you sepia tone it slightly?) I especially like the background colour that you chose for this shot.
Nice details on the finger and thumb of the man holding the watch.
You had an excellent idea for the Challenge and you show imagination and originality in your work.
I notice from your past Challenges that you’re finishing in the averages of 5.4’s, so all I can say is to keep practicing and every day that you can and enter the Challenges as often as you can and you will be able to sit back and watch you scores slowly climb higher and higher.
Regards,
Ed
