Why shouldn't a gaveyard be full of people jumping around, models posing, photographers clicking? If religion's anything to do with this then there's no worry because the spirits that occupied these deceased persons under the stones have long since fled to Heaven or Hell!
Apart from that, as long as no damage is done, it's really quite harmless. Graveyards use a lot of land - why not make more use of them? |

Has a great "awe" factor. Not normally a fan of neat image, but the way you weave the colors and textures like paint is nothing short of pleasing. Your acute attention to contrast and color is again spectacular. Fantastic composition and styling, I give this two cold/clammy thumbs up :-)

Me three. I'd have liked to see this one in the top three, along with e301's. It's the dynamic composition which strikes me most. |

I still love this. almost 50 votes at 4 or less? when will these *ahem* voters figure out that it's a PHOTOGRAPHY contest not a moral trial by jury. who gives a crap if you don't like the subject? It's in a cemetery, ergo it meets the damn challenge. It's a technically well executed photo. how on earth could that equal a 1? gr.
Anyway, J - this is fab. well done. deserved better. a LOT better.
high five to all those who could see past their own egos and voted it fairly even if they objected to the subject matter. |

What purpose does the model serve? Would have been a cool shot without her...she just seems totally out of place. |

I like it but I think you will get penalised by most voters. I hope not for your sake. It gives a completly different spin on the challenge. Well done and a lovely model too. |

That's a different take on the challenge. Just goes to show that a beautiful person really does help sell things :) I like it a lot. I like the different angle you used too. It stands out. |

The quick and the dead woud seem to be a more apropriate title.
Nonetheless, an intersting and lovely shot.

This is a beautiful photo with outstanding processing. It's great that you were able to make a glamour shot out of such a "grave" subject. :-) |

this is a beautiful image but it has a little too much of the dodge & burn look to it, and I see slight halos around the crosses, the skin tones are smooth as if you had used NI, it should do well depsite the few flaws I find |

I don't like this. It's my opinion on the fact that she doesn't look very respectful sat there like that. BUT I'm giving you a 9 because this is actually an excellent photograph! |

This is profoundly strange. Highly artificial and wildly creative. The use of neatimage isinteresting and effective; or whatever other means you used to get that effect. This is a shot that is staged in a graveyard but really is not "about" graveyards. That alone sets it apart. |

I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

I hope this person is sitting on someone's tombstone that you know. Beautiful work. I think this suffers from over processing. Also I don't like the border because it gets lost in the bottom of the photo. |

I might be wrong but this seems a bit sacrilegious and I'm not in the slightest way religeous so I probably shouldn't care. Yikes! Otherwise it's striking.

Words can't descibe this shot! Just WONDERFUL, and technically perfect. A clear winner, and if not "Where is the justice?" Hehehe! Just wish I would have thought of something like this, but even if I had, it would have paled in comparison. Kinda looks like oprah though? 20 if I could! B |

The photo is great, although I don't care for the angle, but mostly I just think it's a little distasteful to shoot a glamour shot on a gravestone, imo. |
