One of my first phots taken with the new Rebel XT. This photo was taken in local historic cemetery, the statue rests on top of an above ground tomb. Didn't do a whole lot. Cropped, Resized, contrast, USM, and saved for the web.

This is my second go-around =) - I think you did a good job, I like your take on the challenge. There's something about your composition that does not look right, but I cannot figure it out. Overall I think you did a good job though =)

I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

Diagonal comp is powerful when done well but in this case doesn't deliver the power it's capable of. Mostly there is no difference between the zones on each side of the statue so the comp is wasted.
