I thought this a very fitting challenge considering its proximity to Easter. We look forward to the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The cropping choice could have connected this gravestone to the earth, showing us the rootedness of this Rock to the ground in which William is buried. I love the sunray choice in the photo and the trees.

One of the rare cases where the sun flare works. Nice job.

I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

I don't like the way the sunlight is done.

I think the focus on the rock could be a tad sharper. I like the sun rays, really adds depth to the photo. Nice tilt too

i fell he bottom of the monument needst o be visible to give the subject the same sense of rootedness that the trees have, great sense of place here but the main subject is shortchanged.
