| Thanks so much for the wonderful feedback and the link to the tutorial...I have no idea what dodging and burning is but I've heard the term and anxious to find out...I will definitely do some cropping and will try boosting the contrast a bit...thanks again... |

I would attempt to enhance the contrast by dodging highlights and burning your shadows. If you could darken some of the already dark areas, I think it would contribute to a more dramatic image.

Nice dof on this and well seen.
Not sure if a slight contrast boost would help or hurt the icy feel, but do suggest a slight different crop though, so the background on the right is lessened. My eyes keep wanting to look over there and takes away from the main subject in the ice.
