A different point of view might have worked slightly better, but perhaps you couldn't lower the camera fast enough before the dog walked away or something. :) As for the rest of the shot, the beautiful tones and textures are just wonderful, and the sepia works really well! |

Very nice tones and idea. IMO, it's framed a bit too close on the top.
The emotional appeal would be even stronger if the subject was focused on a recent date. Too much burning for a photography contest but presents a nice finished image.
I gave you a 6.

This is nice, but I feel as though the top of the shot is missing. It looks as if you have cropped closely to exclude an element. I would have liked to have seen more of the dog's head The brown tone is good. |

I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

This really springs out at me as a brilliantly original idea. So far I've seen nothing that has really grabbed my attention, but this really deserves a second look. |

Very nice idea and color. Croping is a bit tight in the upper part. |
