Challenge: In the Beginning... (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-20D

Taken in my conservatory, my first lot of veg seedlings to emerge so far this year ... seemed to fit the challenge. In the beginning there was a tiny courgette seedling....by the end of the summer, everyone's sick of eating 'em.

Like your idea, but the composition went a little flat. Too much repetition, maybe, with each group of seedlings distracting a bit from the others. Might have been more dramatic to select the most interesting pot, and provide good lighting for it.

good focus. Subject is lacking in interest, slightly. Would have liked to see greater empahsis on buds, or on shapes of the pots (how about a top down view of a geomtrically perfect selection of pots with budding plants?)

You timed the planting of these just right for the challenge! Good composition.

Nice how the seedlings are in different stages.

You need a better potting mix!

Oh the photo is quite good too. ;-) It does not really have a focal point though.

I like the pattern caused by the pots, it may have been more effective if you had shot it from an angle looking more straight down so I didn't see the green in the corners.
