A simple picture that shows the start of video game history. I used a single area focus to clerify the text more than anything else...

If anything, this is more of "in the middle" since you have Atari and other video game systems that pre-date the NES. While there's nothing wrong with the photo and I like the angle, I don't like the wooden tabletop and the bokeh on the video game cartridge.

An interesting take on the challenge. Photo is a bit dark and seems slightly out of focus. With better lighting and focus I would have scored this a bit higher.

Not sure that there the background element (a cartridge?) helps here. Very grey picture. top of image is also wasted space - maybe a tight crop on the Nintendo logo woud be more to my taste.

great idea....needed to be staged a little better...needed to be focused better also it would have added to the picture alot more.

I'm not asking that you agree with me, but indoor shots with standard lighting are boring.

lighting is not very good in this shot, although it meets the challenge it is not a very interesting subject in my opinion....sorry.

Now this brings me back a lot of memories!
Colors are a bit washed out and also de DOF is kinda weird. This could have worked a lot better if you worked the shooting area (maybe a colored sheed as background, better lighting and so...)

image is too dark and not sharp enough

The game cartridge is kind of blurry, but I guess that Mario wasn't too precisely rendered at this point either.
