Not a bad take on the challenge. It looks like you have some optic flare from the candle just above the cross which is distracting. Otherwise lighting is good.

nice image. Liek the addition of the rosary. while candle lighting is atmospheric, wonder whether a secondary source might have been used to get the book slightly brighter? Goodfocus and detail.

Generally I have a rule...when an idea is repeated in a challenge, such as your idea of "genesis", I automatically take off at least on point from the score I give. This time is the exception. There are no better images in this challenge. This is a great shot and it gets a great score from me. Good luck, I think you have a winner here! <10>

great light from the candle, struggling to find any faults really apart from using a little more DOF could possibly improve it but not by much, good job :0)

not a big fan of the coloring of the picture...the flare near the cross on the rosary bugs me...sorry to sound so picky. good idea though.
