I think it would have done better with out the human hand - Awesome photo a little bit harsh on the flash though ...

great subject, but the hand isn't necessary, the light should be more natural as well the bluish hue to the sky would've been perfect

I am going to be honest here, I think the hand in the shot spoils it slightly,it kills the lovely mood in the picture.
Just my opinion of course. 6

I love the idea of the photo, but the pallor of the skin makes the live subject seem more dead than the stone one. The harsh fill light from the flash, IMO, ruins what's left of the subject.

The hand looks out of place in my opinion, would be better without it.
