| The white spots are distracting...they'd be ok on the stone, but the ones on the ground draw the eye away from the subject. |

| This is in many ways a downright "ugly" image. It's also a mysterious one, in that I can't pinpoint just what those specks on the ground ARE. For all of that I find the whole thing suprisingly compelling, although I suspect it will not do well with most voters. A strong score from me. |

| The lichen cover and the speckled background seem to detract from what otherwise is a good idea. |

I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

the "tomb" seems to get lost in the picture.

| All the dots make my eyes tired =) Very interesting photograph. I would like to see the ground burned so that the white spots are not as bring as the ones on the coffin... makes my eyes unable to look at your photo for long =( It's just very busy. But excellent idea!!! I really like your composition! |

| really unusual. I think a really shallow DOF would have helped this by throwing the white dots on teh ground out of focus a bit and helping to define the sarcophagus. Interesting though. |
