Since I can't adjust shutterspeeds or any functions on my camera, I had to use a zoom filter to get that neat effect. The tree gravestone is made of cement. I originally wanted to have a tree "sprouting" out of a normal gravestone but I found then to my suprise I found that tree and it was perfect.

It's quite morbid that I know my way around the cemetary, yet no one I know is grounded there.

This mostly just makes me seasick. It might be a cool effect for other subjects, but it doesn't really do much for this...

interesting idea, and props on the execution of this shot, but overall it sort of disorients me.

Not sure how you did this, but it actually appears to be moving or pulsating. So much so, it made me quesy after a while.

The centre object isn't really clear enough for the blur effect to work, IMO.

I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

Nice one of a kind photo. I am not too fond of this kind of work. I won't count off for that. On technical merit you have done a good job IMO.

Very trippy. Feel like I am having a bad dream or something. Nice job on trying something different.

I like the zoom effect, however I think it would be better with a more cleanly defined central image to radiate from.

I'm curious how this was done.
