I'm sorry I don't get the connection to the challenge.

nice take on the subject - slightly more detail in the spider would have been nice (bit of dodging?)

I love spiders and hve a nice collection of them. When I vote your pic down it's not for not meeting the challenge as many will say, I look at the pic on it's own merit. In my opinion the spider lacks the crisp focus and details that would have done this otherwise good pic justice.

Interesting concept for a 'cemetary' theme. more focus on the web would make this a better picture, imo.

Nice Macro shot, I hate spiders, all well, it's still a good shot. I would've put the spider so it wasn't in the middle though.

I guess someone might see a spider web as a cematary, however this photo did nothing special for me there was a lot of tough competition in this one eh?

Not sure how this ties into the topic of Cemetery... Otherwise, it's a beautiful shot. :-)

Nice image. Don't see a relation to cemetery

I know the story, but we need a dead spider here to fit the idea :)

I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

I don't understand this. Perhaps too far out of the box or you are going for the brown ribbon.

I like the idea but don't think it's a great photo. if you go out of the box you need to be dead on....pardon the pun

Very nice photograph. I do not like how the closest spider is in the center of the photograph... I think it would have been stronger if you cropped it differently and removed that distracting black spot to the right of hte large spider. Otherwise, I like how you took a different take on the cemetary competition.

Understanding that it is an insect 'cemetary' somehow does not redeem the photo. It would have been better if a few more strands of the web were in crisp focus and if the subject were not so close to the center of the frame. One well photographed spider is infinitely better than two and a half less well photographed ones. The colors seem a little wierd, it might have looked better in B&W. The contrast seems a little low; it looks like there may not be any fully white pixels.

Doesn't meet the challenge. But otherwise a fine attempt.
