Challenge: Cemetery (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200
Location: York Cemetery in Toronto, ON
Date: Mar 27, 2005
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/60
Galleries: Still Life, Floral
Date Uploaded: Mar 27, 2005

Taken today at a cemetery, which happens to be less than a block from my home here in Toronto. I deliberately avoided making the deceased's full name visible. Taken between 5 and 6pm, before the sun had begun to set.

Flowers, gravestone.. I don't know. There was nothing more interesting to find?

This is my second go around =) - Very nice! The colors look a little muted... I would have adjusted your contrast slightly and/or color saturation. However, great idea for the challenge.

I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

I would like to see the flowers as an accent to the headstone.

Nice idea for a picture. It looks a bit out of focus, and a tad on the yellowish side. The only other thing that I would change is, since you named the picture "In Loving Memory", it would be a bit better (at least for me) if all of the engraved "In Loving Memory" were in the picture, instead of having the L obscured.

This photo looks a bit flat - dark.
You might want to try brightening and increase contrast.
