| Subtle, effective use of the eyeglass lens to emphasize the phrase, "In the beginning". Well cropped/composed with the placement of "GENESIS" balancing the eyeglasses perfectly. ....8.... |

| this technique is pretty overdone on this site, and the glasses don't enhance the shot here at all -- they just get in the way. |

| Nice clear photo. I like how the words "The Beginning" are framed with the glasses. I wonder what this would have looked like in more of a Sepiatone. If only your eyes were worse and the glasses thick enough to really magnify the words it would have had more "PUNCH" ;-) |

| with glasses, I think that there needs to be more distortion and it should focus attention on the relevant words - not sure that there is enough focus on the relevant words in this image. RHS and cropping of glasses seems a bit messy too - though I an see that at this angle you needed to do so around the "Genesis" title. So maybe a different angle of attack? Also, bible pages are quite transaparent - might have worked better with a non-tissue paper bible! |
