Would look better with the one just behind the focal point removed, as it almost looks like a 'blur' on the focal point, whereas there's none. Also the DOF droppff is just too quick.Slightly larger DOF might have helped.

Very attractive photo. like the lighting (slightly back lit?) and the DoF separates fore, mid and background nicely.Very sharp. I like this.

This is a very nice picture for the challenge and I hope it finishes in the top 10. The focus is very centralized that enhances the new plant as it emerges through the pebbles. Nice choice of materials.

Excellent composition and take on the challenge. The sprout is just far enough off center to really catch your eye and make the picture pleasing. Keep up the good work!
