Ansel would be proud! Near perfect light and tonal contrasts; stunning foreground interest. ONLY nit-pick - the swirly lines in the blown area of the cloud of light coming down.

I like the contrast here. I think the grass in the foreground detracts from the picture just a bit, but overall a very nice photo.

This is a nice image. I love how you did this image in black and white. I am a big fan of contrast and I love the rich darks and rich whites seen in this image. I also love the texture you can see throughout this image. Nice work.

surely it forms by accretion, not by rain? (geology not a strong point). Maybe not enough "beginning" without the title. Very pretty & dramatic scene though.
