Man, I have to laugh, I have so may of these at home!! Clever idea. I think the lighting is good. It looks like the focus is on the dead plant rather than on the new growth. I think I would have switched that.

Interesting juxtaposition of old and new. Like the color contrast. The fine detail in the tendrils and leaves of the old plant outweigh the fuzzy bulk of the new.

Nice idea. Really want to see more of that pot - just too much out of frame (including the very bottom of the plant) There is a slight yellow colour case on my monitor, too, than might be better removed, and the picture would benefit from a little sharpening, I think.

I like the composition of this shot, though the top of the plant seems to be a bit overexposed.
