| So elaborate, so confusing and intricate...what a neat subject! And you did a fairly good job photographing it - it's often nearly impossible to photograph a tree-trunk with any sort of composition. The tones and sepia colors also work nicely here, helping set an ancient forest type atmosphere. |

The title intrigues me. Needful Thing. So are we all. We rely on basic functions such as food, drink, and air. But we also need deeper things such as love, support, and encouragement. Cool portrayal you've got here.
Personally, I like the compostion. I think the water adds to the composition and conception of the image. Well done |

| Lord of the rings setting? spooky image, it may be my monitor but would prefer the botton 25% to be cropped. Great shot |
