great scene...I think it could use a bit more contrast - seems sort of flat |

This is a beautiful scene and I don't think the sepia does it justice. There isn't enough contrast to show the detail in the picture. I would have loved to see it in color and I think B & W would have shown it off better than the sepia. |

This photo is detracted by the sepia tones. The object of interest, the castle, is too far away and the mountain doesn't add to the impact. I would have made the castle a bigger part of the image. |

I think color may have looked better on this one, the building is too close to the shade of the hillside around it to stand out in this version |

A closer crop to fill the frame with this wonder IMO would improve the power of this shot. I like the view to the top of the hill but wouldn't miss the uninteresting foreground. Sepia works well. All the best. |

Neat but a little too brown for my taste. Good composition though. Neat subject too. |

I love the aged appearance you have given this. |

The composition is good but it seems to be lacking contrast and a full tonal range. There does not appear to be any true blacks in the image and as such it comes across as a little flat. Using a black point and a slight curves adjustment would likely improve it immensely. I understand you were going for an olde world feel but a more subtle sepia tone may have added to the mood. |
