| Nice sunrise photo. I like how the sun reflects off of the stones on the beach. The gull gives it that extra touch. |

I'm always frustrated by the large number of cliche pictures -- where people all seem to have the same idea. I guess it's not the fault of the photographer, how would they know what others are going to do? It's a very attractive image, nicely framed and the colors are right.
My problem is more that there are a ton of other sea/beach/sun pictures in this contest. For me, it doesn't speak very loudly about the topic. |

| The bird is a very nice touch. I think I would like this one better if the beach foreground shown were all wet and reflective or if the shot were cropped more on the bottom. I like the composition. the placement of the horizon is nice. The colors are very nice as well. |

| Nice colours and good capture of the bird (eish he was flying into frame, not out of it). Composition might have benefitted from rule of thirds being applied more stringently. May be just me, but is horizon a pixel or two off straight, too (only an issue as it is a focus point). |

| This is a really nice image. I love the coloring of this image. I also really like the refelction of the sunlight onto the water and the objects laying on the beach. Nice work. |

This is soooo pretty! I love this image. I love the way the light reflects onto the water, it looks great. I also like how you captured the image witht he bird and the wet sand it gives a great effect
