Excellent lighting. I like the semi-profile.

Check out: www.softpaws.com

an absolutely great and humane way of dealing with a cats scratching or clawing without having to de-claw him/her/it. Too, you can uncover the couches!

I didn't get to this shot during the challenge but wanted to come back and let you know I gave this one an 8. I really like the overall feel of the shot and the use of lighting is wonderful. Just one thing really bugged me about the overall shot, the lower right corner, the leg seems to come out of nowhere and then is gone, maybe just a little tighter crop on that side to really give the negative space on the other side the chance to really enhance the kitty.

I enjoy how the light highlights the face of "The Shredder". I wish the eyes were more visible and I would consider cloning out the lighter streaks in the background to the left of the kitty's head...

Very nicely lit and photographed portrait. I think it would have been nice if the top of the ear hadn't been cropped off.
