I actually like the abstractness of this shot, it turns your cat into a character... |

This would have been a great portrait of a beautiful cat, but his whole face is blurred... |

Almost looks like a stuffed toy. Nice highlight of the eyes, although I'd really rather see more of Jacob. Can't see any detail....lost in the black. A lot of niose in the photo. Background is a bit distracting too.....but I love the eyes!! |

Black cats are hard to photograph at the best of times and you have cuthis ears off perhaps some relected light or using the compensation button on your camera to give you more light would help 5 |

Too noisy and lack of definition in the cat's face and body |

Jacob is adorable from what I can see. The problem with shooting black animals and this I know so well, is getting the details. It is sooooooo hard. The focus is also off adn the pictures and cord running through the shot are very distracting. A 4 |

Looks like only fur and eyes, LoL!
If the image wasn't that grainy (and the table wasn't that messy) this would have made one outstanding image cz of this good looking cat! |

This so beautiful cat deserves more resolution and maybe a different crop of your photo. |

I love the big eyes in the middle of the featureless face. This would have been terrific against a white background. I don't like all the wires and paper in the background though. |

This is my second go-around =) - Cute kitty!!! About your photo - the resolution looks very low... the picture is very pixellated. Definately need more lighting on Jacob... a silver or gold reflector looks best for dark animals (staple aluminum foil to a board works just as well)... it'll bring out the highlights on his fur without over-exposing yoru photo. I do like the angle you took the photo... I think lighting and resolution are the only improvements that could be made. =) |

And all eyes he is! Pity about the angle........ |

I love this shot! Its a shame about the noise & overall lack of sharpness, but this doesnt detract too much from its appeal. Good luck Dood! |

cute angle but it seems to be rather out of focus, also all the items in the background are highly distracting which to me really puts this shot in the snapshot category rather than a portrait. |

Jacob is indistingushable to me.. I can not tell if he is an owl a cat or a furbie.. I wish I could see it better.. and the lighting and cropping are poor |
