Jake is beautiful! So handsome! I used to have a dog named Jake but he was an English Springer Spaniel! This is a lovely shot, just a few things that jump out at me, first the lighting, the shadows on the collor area are a tad distracting. And the fur on the lower right side is starting to blow out, not quite there but close. Mayber a tighter crop on the bottom just above the buckle would help with that?

Second the backtround, it almost ends up blending with the dog instead of helping him stand out and the shadow and lines coming in on the right are a tad distracting, again nothing major, just little things. And did you dodge or burn any of this? There seems to be a dark halo around Jake in some areas, that is very distracting. I had this at a 6 but Jake is so wonderful and so loyal (I can tell from his expression) I am raising it to a 7

What a noble visage! Probably would have cropped out that shadow on the right for even more drama.

Now this one looks an angry fella! Watching over his teritorry! But he's just gorgeous! I love german sheppards! I'll have one myself when I get to have a big house. And also a doberman.
Great capture! 9

Jake is very handsome, colors look a little flat though. Also, maybe a tighter crop on the right to get rid of the shadow or whatever that is would help

You can't go wrong with a German Shepherd Dog! Jake is very photogenic. I would bump the saturation just a tad to bring out her color. 8

I would have cropped it a bit better, getting that right side object out of view.

Beautiful dog, lighting and focus. I think a more careful crop would of raised the score (at least from me). You did a good job of capturing this handsome dogs personality and expression.

Great great eyes. I would have cropped this much closer to eliminate the distracting elements of the house. In on the right to the shoulder and on the left to balance. Beautiful dog.

Nice pose, would like to have seen it on a background that is not quite as distracting.6

Great picture. I love shepards. You might try it without the collar, I have found that helps with the dpgs lines. Jake is very handsome
