The eyes are certainly interesting. I also like the softness of the fur. I dont think the fence really adds that much to the image and think it would have looked better cropped out. The background is also a little light and could use a slight burn to darken it so the emphasis goes back to the cat.

What an interesting cat is this one! His eyes are gorgeous!
The only thing that bugs me about it are the reflections on his eyes. Very good shot anyways!

Nice idea with the natural frame and you have got a good look from the cat, I would have scored higher if the back ground was not so overexposed, to avoid this you should s expose fo the backgroud and then set your flash to give 1 stop LESS light,. IE if the background was say F11@ 1/125 suse this setting but set your flash to give you F5.6 Of if you want a lighter shot to F8 that will keep the back ground the correct tones. 6
