This is my second go-around =) - So cute! You may have intended this, but I would have moved your kitty further from the background so you wouldn't get that harsh shadow... I find it a little distracting. Otherwise, good job!

Too much shadow, it distracts from the actual cat.

A very nice composition. I would have prefered this cute guy further from the background to avoid the hard shadows. Bumping up on composition.

the shadow on the stark white background is distracting. I would like it softened a bit. The DOF, POV excellent. Your cat poses very well!

Ah, a classic pose, almost Egyptian in it's nature. But the light is so harsh and bright and the shadows just hurt this on so many levels. I really like the idea and the set up, but maybe a diffused light and a darker background, possibly even black with the light might work better, would help absorb some of the light and hide the shadow. As is a 5

Regal kitty, too bad about the shadow, wish you had put a light pointing to the wall to bounce of back of kitty :)

Why a green border? I don't normally have a problem with borders at all, but that green, which is the only green in the photo, stands out, and not in that great of a way.

I like the shadow and your framing, though.

I don't like the harsh shadow behind the cat.

The flash shadow behind the cat is really distracting. The pose is nice.

Great capture. Too bad about the shadow, maybe some lighting from the right would have isolated the subject from the shadow.

The shadow, while possibly intentional, is the only thing I find distracting about this one. The light is just too flat. Pose is great, and eyes are really pretty.
