I am bumping this image because the sweetnes of this guy comes through. A deeper dof would have rendered the eyes sharper.

Oh, how sweet! Such a wonderful, old wise face this lovely creature has! The eyes are the windows to the soul, even in our animal friends and he/her eyes tell me that they have seen a lot but will never tire of seeing more right now.

I like the DOF on this, the background works okay but the lighting and dull color really work against the overall shot. The light is a bit dull and the coloration of the coat is also flat to me. A 6 when I first came through but bumping to a 7 for this friend's loyalty. :)

Your tired old friend is beautiful and looks like a sweet companion. Nice sharp picture. I might suggest seeing a bit of a profile too. Great job.
