Cute Shot. Yeah, I noticed the similarities between my dog, Buddy, and Ben. I got buddy from my best friend's house back in 2000 when her dogs, Ginger and Scamp had 7 puppies. Scamp (whom I believe to be one of the grungiest-looking dogs ever) is half Jack Russel/Wirehaired Terrier, and Ginger is a purebred half miniature, half toy poodle(I have her sister, Rosie). So, what do you get when you put them together? A Terri-dac-dle. Yup, Terrier Dacshund, poodle.

While I don't think that Ben is related to Buddy, I do think that he is a similar mix. The only reason I don't think so, is b/c I knew all of the puppies and you live in Texas. There were 4 black and tan ones, 1 brown one, 1 redhead (buddy), and 1 white, who was a girl. I'm so frustrated that I can't find the pic of them when they were pups! Darn. Here are some other ones:

Missed you! (And missed this pic completely (did only vote half))

Nice to have you back!

Hi! I didn't get a chance to comment during the challenge so here goes. I gave this shot a 7. I like the conversion to black and white and I like the overall feel of the shot, the textures, the relaxed mode it put me in. You must have wore that little guy out!

I never noticed the one eye peeking out, it's almost hidden and I think that was part of why I started with a 7 on this, had I been able to get back to it I would have probably bumped to an 8. The overall shot lacks the contrast needed to really make it stand out but an excellent shot still the same. :)

The textures fit in on the bedding, by contrasting the softness of your dog. I like that the one eye is watching! nice shot..
