When I saw Patches looking at Joan and hearing her purr, I had to capture this photo..
I painted the background..

You can clearly see the marks where you have done your editing.

presumably gone down teh route of not having a black background and dropping one in via the means of an art package. If you do this again I suggest using a little blur on the outlines to disguise this better as it looks like cut and stick. The cats white fur also seems over exposed or just no clarity of focus.

This could have been a really touching image - but the black background looks like itw as almost added on -there's almost a grainy line around each subject and it's very distracting. 4

Not sure if you are a Photoshop user, but you may want to look for a tool to soften up the edges after an extraction to lessen the jagged edges. Not sure if feathering is an option as well. I use PSP, so I can't be more specific. It's a great shot, I do like the composition, the biggest detraction is the rough edges.

Whoa this shot looks like it was severely sharpened...almost makes it look like the images were cut out.

The face in this photo is scary.. the outline is too obvious and not close enought to the subjects. I'm sorry but I do not like this picture.
