 Glamour Puss - She is a joy of a cat.

Shot was taken with Russian made Helios 40-2 85mm M42 lens. I like this lens very much for its wild Bokeh and shallow depth of field.

Image was shot at f2, handhled under halogen lights. Post processing was not too heavy. Adjusted levels, slight curve adjustment, resized using bilinear, selectively sharpened the eyes and then the whole face. I was about to call it good when I realized forgot to white balanced the pic, so I went back to curves did a white point adjustment.

It was a fun shoot. Did it less than an hour before the challenge started. Shot 1GB worth of images, selected this one and ran with it. I hope my cute kitty can score in the 6's!

This is my second go around =) - Chloe's just beggning to be pet! So cute! I think that her white spots are a little too hot/over-exposed so it's distracting from her face. Otherwise, great job!

A portrait with a difference, and I like it. Normally wrinkled or creased backgrounds can be such a no-no, but the folds of the blanket in the foreground actually add to the cozy at-ease feeling of the cat's posture. Good focus exactly where it needs to be. 8
