 I had to pick one of my dogs for the picture, so I picked Bruce Lee. He's a boxer and is a great model, he let me put all sorts of hats on him and couldn't have cared less. My other boxer Opal O(Female) is too hyper and wouldn't have sat still. My chihuahua Selena is too scared of the world so she would've crawled out of the hat and into my lap. My girlfriends Min. Pincher Petey is supposed to be around 10 lbs, and he is over 20, he has a broken front leg(previous owners didn't fix it) and as soon as he heard someone open a refrigerator or drop a bread crum, he would've been long gone. All in all, I'm glad with how the picture turned out. The lighting was supposed to set a calming mood, and the backdrop was so the colors in the picture didn't clash making me swich to black and white.

robbed photo.....
only took a glimpse at some shots, but this photo was definately robbed. was expecting to see it in the top 20

The score this photo received tells me that this site has some serious issues with scoring consistency. Some of the shots that beat this one are a friggin joke! No way this is a 5! It makes me wonder if I should ever bother submitting to this site again......

I really liked this one, gave a 9, I only wish the background, what looks like a hap-hazard bed pillow, was a pancho or mexican weave blanket - but well blurred so as not to add too much distracting texture as the pillow does. Beautiful lighting! Great hat, nice dof and other textures.

I think living with two boxers would freak me out too, Selena ;))

It took me awhile to find the face ahaha - there is too much negative space...and an unflattering background. The lighting is also poorly done, and the focus is off. More attention should have been paid to composing the shot, the position of the pup, etc. It is a good idea, and he sure looks cute in that hat :)
