I shot this at work with - get this - the work camera (which ain't no prize). The shot was more to document the work that was going on that day, but hey, it worked for this challenge too. The spray of sparks was intense enough and hot enough to catch the nearby wall on fire. Always fun at work.
Post shot adjustments involved cloning out some distractions (date stamp (work camera again), bystander's hand, logo on side of hardhat), USM, brightness/contrast adjustments, Neat Image, and some hue/saturation adjustments. The shot was not cropped and not rotated from the original.
And hey, I was the second to submit for the challenge, too. I thought I was first, but typing out this long description did me in. |

This I like, something different. I like the composition and the diagonal lines of the man's body leading from one corner to the tool in the other corner. The sparks are cool too 8 |

I like this one alot! It's a really interesting composition, and the sparks flying do give it that extreme action feel! |

Sorta wish you concentrated more on the grinder, and less on the worker. |
