This would have been an awesome shot if you used a polarizing filter to make the sky really dramatic! Your subject is a touch dark though as it is presented here...

The border adds nothing to the scene, the sky is beautiful but at the expense of the subject (jmo) I personally like the overall ambience, with a little adjustment_as mentioned

Nice shot. The only orhter comment is that the brightness of the sky tends to pull your attention away from the darker building.

A beautiful photo but this is more ruins then abandoned, altho it could have been abandoned at one time. I think this would make an excellent print. Great colors and clarity and excellent use of the RoT. Well done and good luck in this challenge.
