Thanks every body for the valuable feed back and comments. I had thought of making the foregound completely black. But I am not really good at it and could not get a nice look in photoshop. So I did away with it. The building stands in the middle of Besant nagar beach in Chennai, India. Not sure what it was used for previously. I was hoping to get a bright sunrise that day , but it was a cloudy morning and it started raining few minutes after I took this shot.

A powerful composition. I wonder if it wouldn't be better to monkey with curves and make the foreground a completely black silhouette.

It could be good. It just looks a little dark in the foreground and soft in the sky. But it appeals to me.

Very nice photograph. I would have cropped the top just a little. The top clouds don't add much to the photo and a shorter crop would have given it a better landscape look.

The building is in the shadows a little too much. I'd either lighten it (shadows/highlights in PS CS) or totally black it out.

Wow! Awesome. I love the teeny tiny person in the picture. It gives the perspective of how big that building is. That sky is just incredible too!!!!! I LOVE THIS ONE.
