The texture is there, but the soft focus doesn't let it come out. If you are trying to show smooth vs rough white then put the rough in focus so we can see even more distinction. I like the artistic value of this, but I think the execution was poor.

White study on white must have been hard to photograph, must have been a hard idea to come up with. Lighting is okay, white on whiter color is okay too, kind of hard to tell with the focusing as it seems to fade out on the top side and corner.

That is GOOD. I have tried photographing white and never with success. The texture is good, the photo is good overall
