 This was planned to be the Romanian National Library, but after the 1989 popular Revolution, the building was abandoned while not being finished, because lack of funding. 16 years later, and the concrete monster is still here and there are no plans to finish it.

Wow! It's hard to believe someone would let an awesome building like that go abandoned! What an amazing building! I love your angle on it too. It makes it look massive!

Is this abandoned physically? Plus the top of the picture seems a bit crowded by the tight crop.
