A number of posters (all appreciated) mentioned some softness in the window frame focus. I thought it was the milky color of the faded whitewash, but now that I've looked again, they're correct. |

Cooool...I can't think of much else to say, I just like this shot a lot. It has a very 3-D feel to it, and looks almost as though the wall with window were superimposed over another image. I guess I could think of more to say. Huh, what do you know. |

This would be a stronger image if the focus was right. Depth of field??? |

Very nice! I love the flattening affect you've got here. One of my favorites in the challenge. |

Very interesting point of view. Sharp, light is nice and contrast is good. Effective composition. |

Very nice shot. A little bit soft focus on the front of the building. |

Luckily (or well-planned on your part), the angles just inside the window frame keep the image from feeling too centered. It's a lovely picture. |

Nice artistic interpretation on this challenge.
There is beauty in what society calls an eyesore.
Well Done! |

Nice composition. Love the texture of raw wood versus peeling paint. |

I like the idea of looking in throught the window, but the subject in the window isn't that interesting (at least to me). I think the red texture on the wall is great though. I think making that the focus would make for a more interesting pic. |

The angles and through the window view appeal to me...the old paint seems to add a nice touch too..but it's the geometry with light and shadow, that make it appear to be a painting on a red wall..back for another look, I like this a lot...9 |

There are things that I really about the image and then there are things that make me wonder why. I like old paint and texture. I like the framing. But I can't quite make out how you have tried to focus on this one. And also I am trying to figure out if you did that on purpose, I mean focussing on the 'wall' rather than the window frame. |

Nice framing of an abandoned place. Clever title. The colors seem washed out. |

Would have made for an excellent photo for the windows challenge but for abandonded building I find it lacks interest/subject. I also find the focus/clarity to be a little OoF as well. A border on this photo could have done well as it would have made the photo stand out more. Good luck in this challenge. |
