Just love this one. The dappled light mimics his markings. This is a really nice candid photo.

the line of the giraffe works nicely in the composition.... maybe to crop it a bit tighter would have improved overall....

Way to tight of crop for my taste (all centered up).... could have been composed better by including more of something else (possibly more giraffe neck). Colors and focus seem good.

as cute as this guy is, this image is not what i would consider a really strong free study entry. there might some things you could do from a technical standpoint to improve the image, and hopefully you're getting some comments in that direction, but, on the whole, this doesn't really have the 'wow' factor that can make a point or two difference in the results. good luck.

To blurry on either side of the photo, I think it should be crisper

I love how it's cropped and the blurred leaves in the background. I wish the lighting was better, though, because he looks a little washed out.
