The hat looks posed but definately adds to the sense of personal loss. Not a complicated scene but looked at it the longest. An emotionally evocative photo and very well done.

Perfect lighting. Without the had it would be much lover in my estimation. The hat makes the story and the story elevates this from a nice moody building picture to something much more interesting. I like this one very much.

Without the hat, it's an ordinary photo. But with the hat it becomes something else entierely. Very nice shot.
