 I went to my favorite abandoned building site and shot around, looking especially for texture and colors. This one taken from the chicken house towards what I perceive to be the "main house". The afternoon sun was a little bright and the collection of power lines limited my composition. All the while I was shooting I had to look over one shoulder as I was trespassing. I used very Little PS on this and tried something new. I did no level adjustment and only used (image) (adjustments) (shadow/highlights) in the advanced mode. After resizing I sharpened the whole image with Unsharp Mask.

Good use of natural framing.
I can't quite put my finger on it and maybe it's neat image that was used? The boards on the one building have an odd texture (plastic-like), a lot of detail is missing in the grass area and I see banding in the sky (also another "signature" of neat image getting aggresive.

good framing and good saturation on this one. too bad about the fence, but still, it fits the composition nicely.
