My only real problem is that the point of focus is lost. |

The strike should be the center of attention in this image, but the mural above it is so bright and crisp that it dominates over everything else. |

I really like the idea for this composition. What makes me uncomfortable though, is the bowling ball leading the eye into the frame and then the pins on the right acting like a wall to stop it. If you could have captured a strike in the other lane perhaps I'd be enjoying this even more, because both the top and bottom elements would be flowing the pic off to the right. In photoshop, give it a touch more USM or sharpen edges next time. Sorry for being overly critical. |

Nice strike.
Be glad you didnt leave the 5 pin.
The end of the lane is crisp but I think it would have been more effective if the pins were captured rather than in motion.
Maybe more of a straight shot down the lane as well.
Not for EXTREME action, lets see a 7-10 pick up |

Not sure if it's intentional or not, but the pins in the artwork above the strike add some wonderful dynamic to this shot. Would that it was sharper... |

good idea but i think the composition is off - it seems that the main focus at first glance is the stationary pins on the right - maybe a different crop would help - I don't know what it is, but my eyes are drawn to the pins on the right. |
