I guess the plane was very close since you got it with 135mm lens. It is very nice shot however it seems a bit over processed. Something feels unnatural but I could be wrong.
Did you see Maverick with his hair on fire? |

This is just an awesome shot. I love these jets and know it is difficult to get this shot!! I have tried before!! :) Great job! |

Great capture David! This should have done much better. Obviously, not many of the voters (or commentors anyway) know much about jets and aerodynamics. The vortices over the wing, and especially the wing tip vortices, make this shot what it is. Without them it would just be an F-15 hanging in the air. Oh well... better luck next time. :) |

Having had my hair on fire, I think I'll pass! Amazing capture - good detail from a distance while moving. |

The fuzziness on the wings is sort of unsettling...it doesn't really look like a motion blur...maybe a wierd reflection. Whatever it is, it ditracts from the rest of the plane. |

Outstanding strange. How "real" is that, and I hope you've explained it in your notes, it's fascinating. Feel free to PM me and tell me if you like, I'm done with voting. |

I love Military jets and the F15E is one of my favorites. Capable of reaching Mach 2.5 at high altitudes but is limited to Mach 1.8 when armed. You did a great job of capturing the speed and agility of this large fighter. Which BTW is capable of +9 G-load. Now thats extreme. Great Job! 10 |

The extra white on the wings doesn't look like it naturally comes from the camera. I'm not sure if it's the case, but it doesn't seem to add a lot to the image. Maybe doing this as a motion blur would have given this a more "urgent" look. 5 |
