My daughter received a dried bouquet of roses from a friend for her birthday. They were so lovely I thought I would shoot a macro of a single rose from the bouquet.

I must admit to not being a B/W fan but you have done a good job here with detail, composition and nice crop. Well done.

really dead looking flower, no color left, should have left it off centred to kill it right off.

I think I would have liked this more in color.

Amazing shot, I love it, wonderful comp, contrast. Good luck.

This really caught my eye because of the dark subject against a white background. It would have been nice for it to be a little darker and have some interesting shadows to accent the feeling a dried (and dead) flower evoke. Can't criticize too much since this is such an interesting image. Well done.

Border touching left side of flower, not top or right... Wassup with that??? I'm sure you spent a lot of time on this, why hurt it with something so obvious and simple? If it was intentional, I can't figure out why?

Hmmm. Bit hard to tell what it is. Perhaps it would work better in colour?
