I wanted to try to give this a "Blair Witch Project" look and feel. Judging from the scores it recieved, I guess it didn't work! :)

The leading branches really make this image too busy

Natural framing with the trees is a bit distractig in my opinion.
As a suggestion, try taking the image into Photoshop (assuming you have it), and in the Hue/Saturation adjustments, take the yellow channel hue and saturation to the right a little (may 10 pts) and bright the lightness down a bit (10-20 pts) to give the yellows more of a darker, richer green look, and bring the red saturation up just a little.

The tree on the right is blurry and when you look at the pic it throws off the building.

I have to say that the abandoned house is not the main subject in this image as it should be regarding the challenge rules. There are too many trees and branches in the foreground that distracts IMHO. Nice shot though!

Good framing. Would have been terrific if both trees were in focus. Hard to do.

This cabin looks abandoned. Like the muted colors. I find the large out of focus tree to the right, distracting. I would like the photograph better if it had been cropped out. Nice shot 'though.

I find the out of focus tree on the right a little distracting.

I feel the tree on the right distracts. Perhaps if you cropped it a bit tighter or ever got rid of it all together.

Forced use of low DOF without a function, sorry.

Foreground is way too busy and distracting. Would have been a much better shot to step around the trees to shoot. The fact that the tree on the right is extrememly out of focus is very distracting. A different crop could help with that. I like that the building itself is in focus, and I like seeing htat you captured this place when the trees were budding out. Gives the photo less of a feel of ruin and decay.

The tree on the right hand side of this shot really inhibits the picture, rather than enhancing it. Perhaps a different angle would be better.

There is a fine line between abandoned buildings and buildings in ruins. This looks to me like it is in ruins. A very interesting composition tho.

Framing is to tight for my liking. I would love this building if the photographer showed more personel involvement.
