Two hyacinths and a Daffodil were set in a small vase and placed on a white board. These were lit by off-camera flash. The photograph shows their reflection in a piece of silvered cardboard, which gave the rippled effect.

Sorry I don't like the trembly effect and overbright background

Very impressionistic, like something you would find in a fine art gift shop. Very well done.

A bit overprocessed for my likings

Interesting twist on a common shot. I like the special effects.

I hope it's not a photoshop filter - it looks out of the camera to me. I guess the DPC crowd will be unimpressed - i love it for it's thought, and it's difference. Keep creating and submitting these kinds of images.

exquisite. my favorite of the whole challenge. cropped a little tight at the top, but not enough to mark it down. excellent work, good luck. +faves.

just an update...i've commented on almost half the entries at this point, and this is still my absolute fave in the challenge. not that will get you anything--i don't usually pick the winners. but, all the same, this is just a great image, and i hope you're getting some good scores!

This will make a great print on watercolor paper. Nice bright colors and clean white background. This is a bold entry for a DPC free challenge. 7

Interesting entry, but too much white space for my taste

I'm a fan of digital "art" in photography, but IMO this P/S filter seems to overload the delicacy of the subject. The white backdrop is a good choice for focusing our attention. All the best.

charming idea and quite nicely done. If it was mine, I'd probably give a little more weight to the bottom to balance those blossoms.

I have no idea how you did this, but I really like it. This is a fantastic example of the "out of the box" images that has appeal. Deserves an 8, and I will re-visit this one on my next pass.

Sorry but not working for me. Wether this effect is due to the fact that you shot it through a window or a photoshop filter (my guess is the filter) I don´t care for it at all. The main reason is that it doesn´t look like a photo but more like an oil painting and while nice looking, doesn´t belong here. Keep in mind that this is just me and my narrow minded opinion, if you like it that´s all that matters really and please just ignore me.
