Shot in one of the abandoned houses near home..

This one built in the late 1800's and probably abandonded during the late 20's to mid 30's.

Because we're in a rural area lots of these old farm houses are simply left, and used as farm storage as is the case with this one, there was hay on the floor in all of the rooms.

Post was simple scale, curves, and a light USM pass in the GIMP. Shot handheld early in the morning, with a 17-40 F/4 L USM @ 17mm.

This will probably bomb, as this type of shot dosn't look that good at 640px, and really needs a large print to look interesting in all it's detail etc.

I also would have loved to have a model standing in the doorway on the right, facing into the sunrise... But then I've not got any non-camera shy folks I can call on, so here it is, model-less. :-).

Love the title. It's the same thing my realtor said to me.

This must be the "Obstacle Course" Room. :)

One of the better doorway shots I've seen. I like the way you tried to balance out the two doorways. The one on the right is a little to bright. The big glare on the left side of the right doorway is distracting.

Tough shot with all the high contrast in the lighting. May have been better to concentrate on one door or the other.

A slight bit OoF. The sun coming in from the right side is aslo very distracting. Perhaps a different time of day would have made for a better photo. Good luck with this challenge.

I would like to see this one in b&w

Hmmm I think it might take a liitle more than paint... but it sure looks abandoned! I like the sunlight on the wall.
