 I didn't think we had any abandoned buildings nearby but I took a drive this afternoon and out in the rural areas I was surprised to come upon this building. (I had to drive down a maintenance road for canals and shoot across a canal, but I found a building!)

This is a neat shot! I also like how sharp the image is, it looks really nice in blacjk and white. It looks nice witht he trees in the front of the building, nice shot.

Contrast seems a bit too high and makes this image harsh.
Time of day shooting (somewhere between 11AM & 1PM?) are tough to not get very harsh.

Not bad for a B & W. You have good contrast with just a little bit of burnout. The tubes on the left are a little distracting. On a personal note, I think this would have been interesting in a different tone (maybe a sepia or something with a hint of brown). All in all, a nice job though.

Nice photo but looks to be way to much USM. Beautiful B&W conversion and I kinda like the photo but it lacks clarity/definition. I find the contrast to be a little to bright as well. Well done and good luck in this challenge.
