Just stumbled across this image while browsing your portfolio. Sensational! The oil has produced a magnificent effect, and the lighting is excellent. Great work! |

Greetings from the Critique Club!
COMPOSITION... I really like the tones in this image, as opposed to keeping it in its original color. Also would work well in black and white! Cropping's okay... I would lean toward's briphoto's comment on the image being cropped too tightly. Symmetry works here, maybe not as strongly as some of the other challenges but its still there, despite the asymmetry of the tattoo - its close enough not to count in my books. Not sure if there is too much water - its just an unnatural part of the body for drops of water (simulating beads of sweat) to appear, so maybe sparser drops of water could have been called for, or maybe even none...
TECHNIQUE... There's an overall softness to the photo that I can't account for. Perhaps its the inherent softness of digital images, as opposed to shaking the camera or other errors... You can try a little unsharp masking to correct this. Contrast in the photo can be enhanced in the highlights range if you look at a histogram of the image. A minor levels adjustment can correct this.
OVERALL... A very artistic and interesting abstract... Nicely toned and appealing to the eye :) |

If you somehow mentioned in the title what you have in the "Photographer's Comment" above, along with the fact that you're female -- I'm pretty sure every guy here would have given you a 10! |

i'm just impressed that hot chicks let you mist them up with a spray bottle and photograph some of their more intimite crevices. they never let me get away with anything even close to that.

Someone broke out in a cold sweat. Usually I'd have guessed it was the viewer, not the subject. |

Maybe a little less mist on the skin...looks like you used a mister. Lighting is good. Maybe without the thong, and landscape aspect so more of the bottom and tattoo showing? |

I think this is cropped too tightly, I want to see more of the subject. |

A very clever and sexy shot. To me, the spray detracted from it because the balance was off set by the size of the dropletts. Still got a high mark. |

Symmetry? Yes, sure. But slightly out of focus (might be focussing or might be motion blur), and I think the whole oiled-up-and-splashed-with-waterdrops idea is a bit used. If you allow my testosterone-ridden chauvinism to be heard for a second; Nice ass ;) (5) |

No really its a good concept and very well taken. I'm not giving it a 10, but I will give it a 7. The tattoo brings asymmetry with it. Very very nice. |

very strong image, excellent balance. It looks like it's off by about 1.5 degrees right rotation. The tatto is also a bit off. I like the drops of water on the model though. |

The crop, the girl, the light.....fantastic. I just find the focus too soft for this shot.
Over all this is really good.....congrats. |
