All the textures might have been nice in b&w... |

The two contrasting buildings create an intresting juxtaposition but I find it also distracts me from the building in the foreground which is why I think you could make 2 photos out of this image. One with the white cropped out and one with it in. |

Except for the distracting wires, this is a very nice shot. ...and one of my favorite titles - unpretentious and to the point! |

I think the choice of crop is wrong here - I would have gone either much looser or much tighter. the partial fence on the left and the white building on the rigth really distract the eye. Of course, I wasn't here, but I think I would have chosen a more front on view of the dorr and windows and second floor balcony, or else backed away and put the old building into a larger context |

The building is great, the grey fence, white building on the other side and powerlines are very distracting. Maybe try shooting more frontally and closer. |

blunt title! I like this image. I like this building. Hate the one in the back - that's the crappy one. :) Too bad about the wires. You captured good detail. |

This building has a lot of character. I'm wondering if you could have gotten some good shots of the details -- like the balcony, windows, door, etc. -- and gotten a stronger presentation. Just a thought -- hope it is helpful :) |
